Ready To Cut CNC Art

Random Loops Appear All Over the Picture

Without knowing what steps in what software produces what results (with a file or screenshot) it's hard to comment

If you're seeing that in mach 3 or a g-code interpreter, affecting EVERY arc, then check that all arc settings are the same in your post-processor (cam software) and g-code interpreter (mach 3, etc.), mismatched arc settings can cause that sort of thing

If it only affects some arcs it could be a software bug or some other settings issues,

The DXF file does not have random circles so that's not the cause...

hi recently purchased super bundle I have new Sampson 510 using dfx when converting to cut path loops appear all over drawing I see it has happened to someone else on forum with no answer

My answer stands...

If you don't see loops in the DXF, yet loops appear when you operate your software, then I don't know what it is, but it is not the DXF.

Please read the first sentence in my response - it's hard to comment - because it makes no sense - I don't know how to answer any better - all I know is my DXFs do not have or cause loops -

if you want a better answer - post a screenshot or file that shows the problem

I know two things that cause loops in machine code

1) if the end points or end angles get reversed a tiny arc becomes a big loop - this usually happens on one or more but not all arcs - due to mathematical anomolies

2) if the gcode reading and writing software do not have the same arc settings (like incremental or absolute arc coordinates) then all arcs will be incorrect.

Neither case has anything to do with a DXF

I confirm SignTorch, it don t come from the dxf.
I got sames problems at my job, random loops, sometimes not even showed in the cutting preview.... soft and cnc conflits...

maybe u have to choose different convertion settings...

thats the same problem i had and it was being caused by the software tolerance if something was too small it would highlight it with a arc or circle sometimes hundreds i found a way round this by up scaling the design then shrinkin it back to normal once it was loaded in the machine workes every time for me
