I am wondering if it is possible to convert a SVG file DXF file?
If you could let me know it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

those files are too big to upload the DXF so I had to zip them

I used inkscape to open the SVG and save it as DXF

inkscape is free https://inkscape.org/

Metal fabricators got back to me and said the DXF files are not complete. They are needing the DXF file to work with the plasma table? Is that something that you can complete the details? Don't need all of them could let you know which ones if that is something that you can do. If you could let me know it would be greatly appreicated.

Thanks!

there's nothing wrong with the DXF files - they open in inkscape, sheetcam, qcad, and vcarve pro - see screenshots below - "incomplete" doesn't mean anything tangible - "complete the details" doesn't mean anything tangible

you asked for conversion from SVG to DXF - the SVG files are not really suitable for viewing (imho) - they are not suitable for plasma cutting (by any stretch of the imagination) - the DXF is the same as the SVG

I can "redraw" just about any image for CNC and that typically costs $25 flat rate per image - some of these may/will cost more - please specify which ones you want in order to determine the cost - your SVG files are not ideal for "redrawing" because they are a giant mess of software traced vectors of complex images - for best results you should send the original images if you have them - you must also specify what size(s) you are aiming for

simply put - those are horrible images to start with - this screenshot shows one of the better parts - most other parts are far worse

if anything - let's try one and see how it goes - please put it in a new thread as a new request...
