What's the symbol in the middle? I was thinking it was Avengers but after a quick google it isn't. I've seen it before though. In any event, bottle opener SVG is here.

What material thickness would you cut this out of?

I would go with 1/8". We cut 16 gauge and 1/8" the most. 16 would bend too easy. You want it to actually be able to open a bottle, right?
