Ready To Cut CNC Art

Park benches ?

Hi just wondering if anybody has ever cut out the pieces needed to assemble a park bench (like the side pieces) ?
I have a customer that wants me to make a bench and incorporate a baseball and some other things like carpentry and such in it as a memorial for his father . It will be donated to the towns park for everyone to enjoy and appreciate. Any help in the design of such a bench would be greatly appreciated.

I'd be nervous about making metal art that people sit on in a public park, it has to be indestructible and not have any holes, pinch points or corners that dresses, babies and kids will get into.

I had this design using 3/4" square tube slats (red) for the seat notched into profile plates, and 1-1/2" heavy wall sq. tube for legs. It wasn't really designed to incorporate artwork, though maybe some could be added in the blue areas, or replace 4 or 5 backrest slats with a strip of sheet metal with some text.

It's a preliminary design, I haven't made one or compared the shape with actual benches, but I like how the slats would be notched into plates which would make the seat easy to assemble and possibly comfortable to sit on, and the legs could be anything that will hold it up off the ground, with or without arm rests. Of course all of the exposed tube ends would have to be capped.
