Hi, new here and to the world of cutting with the sun's heat in general
I got for free an abandonned 1.5mx1.2m twin co2 laser cuting table, 80w + 150W.
It has spend 6 months outside, so i stripped it completely to rebuild it, but i'm retrofitting it to fit a plasma cutter.
I have a cheap chinese 45A, that's what they claim, used it for several years hand held but not for art or anything fancy, cutting jeep axle links and tabs it's perfect
So the idea is to fit the plasma with a THCAD + 7i96 + LCNC + plasmaC + Sheetcam, learning to draw technical stuff with librecad ATM.
And i'm thinking of putting back one laser tube, i'll have to test both.
So i'm happy to have found the forum, as it seems very user friendly for learning and sharing and of course this software looks quite good.
