Fonts including extra's

Hello Everyone
Just getting started and have been having success in importing and cutting images but am at a loss at fonts. My tech source tells me to just down load and add but I still have the issue with the a, e, i's and & $ ' " etc

Does anyone have some set of fonts that they would be willing to share to help me out until I get better with this cutting and fixing issue? I would appreciate your assistance.

for cutting font characters out as holes, standard block fonts have dropouts

you can search for "stencil fonts" - they usually don't have any dropouts

or you can use block fonts - you just have to add bridges to turn them into a stencil
